  • Financial Documents: PDF or CSV bank statements you actively upload to our platform.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our application.

3. How We Process Your Financial Data (Our AI Promise)

Your trust is our priority. When you upload a bank statement for AI parsing, we employ strict data sanitization:

  • On-the-fly PII Stripping: Before any text is sent to our AI providers, our backend automatically redacts Personally Identifiable Information (PII) including Account Numbers, CIF strings, Email addresses, Phone numbers, IFSC/MICR codes, PAN/Aadhaar details, and Customer names.
  • No Permanent Storage of Raw Files: Uploaded PDF files remain in memory only during the processing cycle and are discarded immediately after transactions are extracted. We do not store your original PDF files on our servers.
  • External Providers: Redacted, anonymized data is passed to secure, enterprise-grade AI LLM providers (such as Google Gemini) strictly for the purpose of entity extraction and categorization.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
  • Process transactions and send related information.
  • Send technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests.

5. Data Security & Limitation of Liability (CRITICAL)

While we implement robust, industry-standard security measures (including on-the-fly PII stripping and zero-retention raw file policies) to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

By using FinanceManager, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you upload financial documents at your own risk. FinanceManager, its developers, and affiliates are completely absolved of any and all liability in the event of a data breach, unauthorized third-party access, server compromise, or accidental disclosure of your financial information. We assume no responsibility or liability for damages, financial loss, or identity exposure resulting from using this platform.
